Senior Crime Stoppers

Seniors Progream - Don't have to reveal Crime Stoppers of York Region partnered with York Regional Police Community Services Unit to launch the newest Seniors Crime Stoppers program in York Region in June 2006.

Crime Stoppers wishes to assist the growing Senior’s community by educating and encouraging seniors to speak up anonymously about their suspicions and concerns about criminal acts against seniors including physical abuse, neglect, theft, fraud and identity theft to name but a few.

Crime Stoppers is willing to provide presentations and have a DVD available that was created to assist seniors with knowing what to do and how to help themselves and friends of theirs when it comes to crimes against seniors.
