NOW YOU CAN TEXT YOUR TIPS TO CRIME STOPPERS

 

“TALK, TYPE and TEXT”

Tipsters now have the added option of being able to text message their tip anonymously.  When tipsters use the web or text messaging to submit a tip it is routed through a server and is encrypted so that it is impossible to track.  You will then be sent a secret unique ID.  You will never have to provide your name or testify in court.

Tipsters now will be able to send information three ways to Crime Stoppers anonymously:

  1. TALK: call 1-800-222-TIPS from anywhere in North America toll free
  2. TYPE: Online at www.1800222TIPS.com
  3. TEXT: Text message, TIPYORK + your message, and send it to CRIMES(274637) 

 

 

If the information tipsters provide helps solve the case they may be eligible for cash reward of up to $2000.00.
