The above photos are of a suspect wanted in connection with three bank robberies committed in the City of Vaughan and the Town’s of Aurora and Newmarket within the last month.
The latest incident occurred on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at approximately 10:15 a.m. Investigators believe the same male suspect entered the CIBC bank located at 54 Davis Drive. The suspect approached a bank teller and produced a note demanding money. Although no weapon was seen, the victim complied and the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction on foot with a quantity of cash.
The second robbery occurred on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at approximately 11:50 a.m., when a lone male suspect entered the CIBC bank located at 8535 Highway 27and approached a bank teller. Again no weapon was seen and the suspect indicated he had a gun and demanded a quantity of cash. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction on foot with a quantity of cash.
On Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at approximately 2:35 p.m., the suspect committed the first robbery when he entered the Bank of Montreal located at 15252 Yonge Street and approached a bank teller. Although no weapon was seen, the suspect indicated he had a gun and demanded a quantity of cash. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area of Yonge Street and Wellington Street on foot with a quantity of cash.
No one was injured during the robberies.
