On Sunday, March 14, 2010, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 20-year-old Vaughan man was at the rear of a commercial building located at 7960 Kipling Avenue when he became involved in a dispute with a number of suspects over money. The victim was shot as he attempted to run away from the suspects. The male victim was transported to hospital where he remains with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation revealed that a total of five suspects were involved in this incident. On Tuesday, March 16, 2010, four of them were located and arrested without incident. Giuseppe CENITI, 18, Jacob BRIGHT, 18, Donald LACKIE, 22, and a 15-year-old male youth, all of Woodbridge in the City of Vaughan have been charged with Attempted Murder.

Investigators are releasing a photo of one of the suspects who remains outstanding in this case. Leonzio β€œLeo” CARBONE, 22, of Vaughan is wanted for Attempted Murder and various firearms charges and investigators hope the image being released will assist them in locating him. Mr. CARBONE is urged to obtain legal counsel and surrender himself to police. He is described as male, white, 22 years, 5’11”, 154 lbs., brown hair and blue eyes.
