On Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a male suspect, armed with a handgun, entered the Royal Bank located at 8165 Yonge Street in the Town of Markham. He approached a teller and made a demand for money. As the teller was complying with his demand, the suspect jumped over the counter and removed an unknown quantity of money from a second money drawer. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries during this incident.

SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION:
Male, White, 50 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10”, 170 to 190 lbs., wearing a beige coat, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap with a logo on it.
