York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in identifying a man who entered a Richmond Hill public school and fled when confronted by school staff.
On Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the suspect entered Trillium Public School on Alamo Heights Drive through the front doors then entered the girls’ washroom. A staff member confronted him and he left the school without checking in at the office as directed.
Police responded, including the Canine Unit, which initiated a track with negative results. It is believed the man may have left in a vehicle. No student had contact with the male and nothing was damaged.
Investigators are releasing images from the school’s surveillance cameras in an effort to learn the man’s identity.
SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION:
Male, Middle Eastern, 30 to 40 years of age, 6’, clean shaven with short black and grey hair, wearing a blue windbreaker jacket, a white golf shirt and beige pants.
