On Monday, January 25, 2010, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a 45-year-old employee of a jewelry store located at 7200 Markham Road was walking to his car after closing the store when he was confronted by five suspects who forced him into a van, tied him up and assaulted him.

They asked for the keys to the jewelry store from the victim and he complied. Two suspects then entered the store to steal items. They then returned to the victim, pushed him out of the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained minor injuries during this incident and was transported to hospital. He was treated and later released.

SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION:
#1 Male, white, 25 to 25 years, Wearing a light-brown hooded jacket
#2 Male, white, 5’ 4 to 5’5” , Medium build
#3 Male, black, 5’10” to 6’, Skinny build
#4 & #5, Male
