On Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at 3:15pm the female suspect entered the Shoppers Drug Mart store located at 5710 Main Street in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. The suspect purchased cosmetic items valued at $354 using a fraudulent American Express travellers cheque card. The female suspect then attempted to purchase a gift card valued at $150 with a different credit card at which time store staff became suspicious. Once staff became suspicious the female tried to grab the previously purchased merchandise but was unable to and she fled the store into a waiting vehicle. The vehicle is described as a light coloured older style mini-van, possibly a Dodge Caravan with a licence plate similar to BNHN449.
