On November 26th, 2009 at 1:37 p.m. the suspect approached the victim at the TD Canadatrust located at 8601 Warden Avenue in the Town of Markham. The victim had just withdrawn $4000 cash from the bank was attending her vehicle. She was distracted by the suspect who told her she had dropped some money on the ground. While being distracted another suspect reached into her vehicle and stole her purse which contained the cash and her identification.

On December 3rd, 2009 at 11:55 a.m. the suspect attended the Royal Bank located at 1181 Davis Drive in the Town of Newmarket. The suspect followed the victim out of the bank where he dropped some money on the ground. He had the victim pick up the money, then a second suspect reached into the victims vehicle and removed an envelope containing $10,000 worth of Visa card gift vouchers.

This same suspect is responsible for distraction thefts throughout the Greater Toronto area.

SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION:
Male, White, 45-55 years of age, 5’10”-6’, 210-220 lbs., salt and pepper greying hair, wearing glasses, on one occasion wearing a dark coloured long trench coat and on the other occasion a black winter dress coat with shiny buttons on it and carrying a black nylon bag similar to a laptop bag.
