On Saturday, August 1st, 2009 between the hours of 12:15AM and 2:00AM the two suspects broke into 35 work trucks that were parked at the York Catholic District School Board parking lot located at 320 Bloomington Road West in the Town of Aurora. The two suspects broke the glass windows to the vehicles and after gaining entry removed a large quantity of power tools valued at $35,000.00. One of the suspects is captured on surveillance hobbling on one leg as he needed the assistance of crutches to get to the vans. After the vehicles were broken into this same suspect would go into the rear and pass the power tools to the other suspect.

On this occasion the two suspects were caught in the act by a Security Officer while in the midst of stealing high end power tools from the work vans.
