On Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 at 2:40 p.m. a female came into the store and asked about buying camera lenses. The list of lenses was recorded on her cell phone along with a Nikon flash SB600. She said she was purchasing the items for her husband.

The complainant enquired as to the type of camera the suspect’s husband would be using and she indicated she did not know. The complainant advised her to find out which type of camera and she appeared to be texting a message as she moved away from the counter.

The complainant became suspicious about the transaction and her responses and moved the selected articles to a counter towards the rear of the store. Before finalizing the invoice the suspect produced a TD VISA card. The complainant examined it and formed the opinion that it was counterfeit.

The complainant went through the motions of swiping the card and was advised to contact the processor. The suspect reached out to take the card back. She was advised the amount was over the limit. As the complainant was picking up the phone the suspect turned and quickly left the store.

SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION:
Female, White, 25 to 30 years of age, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black pullover and blue jeans.
